What does god and jesus give us after they have given us salvation because it isn't here yet, is it?

I don't understand? I am not in heaven yet and so I thought god and jesus wanted to give me and bless me with everything? I thought god wanted to help me with everything I do because I am not in heaven yet, am I? I am on earth and so I dunno what to do except get things from god so I can do lots of things for god? Help me understand please.
