Why did Jesus die for my sins?

What is the point? He is God, why cant he just let every one go to heaven? What is heaven like? What is hell like? Why does God always bless me with grace, i honestly feel like his grace is more than enough epically when i don't deserve it. He has always given me exactly what i need, i mean i haven't worked in 7 months and by some miracle my rent has been paid every time. How is that possible? im not even working.
