Has God been to earth or not?

Well people say that God is Jesus, becuase when God made Jesus God took some of him and put it in his son, Jesus. So technically doesn't that mean God has walked earth or what? I'm really confused. And I know like nobody can answer this one but how did God appear, was he just there on day? How? I guess we will figure out when we go to heaven, maybe not even there. Well Fanks you...
