My friends allowed the new kid to trick me help?

Today the new kid(well not that new) anyway, i'm not too sure where he is from but somewhere in europe i think. anyway today in cafeteria, he tooks out a fried crispy frog legs and starting crunching down on it. I was like ewww so gross, after i while i had to go to the restroom. when i came back and started to eat my food all my friends started to laugh. Then i said what happened and they say i just ate piece of fried crispy frog legs which was broke off into my plate. i am furious. Should i tell the principle? I’m a girl by the way. and i'm upset my friends found it funny when they know i think its gross.
